Meet the people who put the “amazing” in A-mazing Events. 

 

Joey Reader is the President and Founder of A-mazing Events.  Joey also teaches future meeting planners as an adjunct faculty instructor for the Fox Valley Technical College Meeting and Event Planning Associates Degree program—and that’s in her spare time. Her education and professional background are in Human Resources Management, but that only tells half the story. Joey is able to plan and manage complex events down to the minute details. Her effervescent personality, creative ideas and energy make the difference for her clients. Her clients benefit from her skills that include identifying event goals, managing changes, listening to client needs, keeping track of details and having a clairvoyant knowledge of resources and vendors.   Joey is a graduate from UW-Oshkosh and the FVTC Venture Center entrepreneur program. Besides that, she’s a lot of fun! joey.png

Patty Hoffman is the Marketing and Events Coordinator for A-mazing Events.  In her role she works closely with clients to determine and implement marketing needs for any type of event, large or small.  Patty has worked with clients creating everything from invitations, signage, personalized room drops, and even managed a 10-minute video production.

In the Event Coordinator role Patty is closely involved with event planning details working with both the client and vendors to make each event flow flawlessly.  Her project management skills and experience in the creative industry are key contributors in her success of managing events with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Debbie Wavrunek is the Office Assisant for A-mazing Events.  Debbie is at the core of A-mazing Events making sure the office is running smoothly and all events are kept on track.  Her enthusiasm with event planning isn't a surprise since she's currently in final stages of completing her degree in the Meeting and Event Planning program through Fox Valley Technical College.  Debbie's skills in working with vendors and attention to details make her a huge asset for A-mazing Events.

Kara Lendved manages chocolate fountain and linen sales for A-mazing Events.  Kara creates a truly unforgettable chocolate, caramel, or cheese experience with Chocolate Elegance Fountain Rentals.  She handles the entire process of fountain rentals from first client contact, fountain setup, attending the fountain during an event, and most importantly, she's the friendly face at your event. 

Kara also is the main contact person for any linen rental inquiries.  She has experience with the different fabrics, textures, and colors offered to help personalize any event.  Kara works closely with each client to ensure the best possible choices by keeping in mind the type of event, venue, and client budget.

Event Support Staff

A-mazing Events has a group of talented and enthusiastic individuals to help make our clients events successful.  We understand the importance of putting the right personality with the right job.  We have licensed bartenders for company or house parties.  In addition, we can fill the positions of registration attendants, greeters, weight staff, craft and game supervisors and more.  Our staff works hard to ensure each event is a special day for our client and their guests.
